Salmon & Halibut Fishing Charters & Guided Hunts in Ketchikan, Alaska!

Ketchikan Cruise Ship Passengers Welcome!

Salmon and Halibut Fishing Charters for the entire family

Ketchikan  Salmon Fishing

Take time to fish the “Salmon Capital of the World”.  While fishing Ketchikan on your Alaskan cruise don’t pay more for less, book your fishing excursion direct. We work with passengers from all cruise lines and groups of any size. Passengers will be met at their ship and taken straight to our charter boats. No van, taxi, or bus rides taking up additional time during your stop in Ketchikan. Trips range from 4-8 hours depending on the amount of time you wish to fish and the length of your stay in port. Salmon fishing takes place in protected and usually calm inside waters as the local Salmon (King, Silver, Chum, Sockeye, & Pink) migrate towards their spawning streams. Just a short 10-20 minute boat ride from the ships port and Salmon fishing begins.

Ketchikan Halibut Fishing

If you are in town for 8 hours or more custom Halibut trips can be scheduled. Passing all other cruise ship Salmon & Halibut Charters,  we run out towards open water to the “full day fishing grounds” where Halibut are abundant. The ride to get to the open water is approximately 60 to 90 minutes.  Halibut trips are in unprotected water and are weather permitting due to sea conditions.

Custom Fish Processing

If you wish to take your catch home we work with a local custom processor that will fillet, vacuum pack, box, and FedEx your fish home once you’ve returned. Prices are approximately $4.50 per pound to get the fish to your door.

Additional Information

For your convenience, we have one day fishing license ($20)  and  King Salmon stamps ($10) to purchase on the boat. Or if you would like you can go to www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license/. to get it ahead of time.
